The Pound 4 Pound Story

A Comprehensive Striking Gym With a Real Community

Pound 4 Pound was established in 2008 in Lansing, Michigan, and moved to Colorado in 2014. Today the Littleton academy combines comprehensive stand-up combat training with a full strength and conditioning facility.

The training environment is built to serve different starting points—from people walking into a martial arts gym for the first time to experienced athletes who want technically demanding coaching and competition preparation.

You can now train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under the same roof. Gracie Barra South Denver, led by Lucas Valente — the current UFC BJJ Lightweight Champion — and Andressa Cintra, brings seven combined IBJJF World titles to the Pound 4 Pound. Whether you already train striking or you're adding grappling for the first time, this program is another path to build skill, confidence, and a more complete martial arts game.

Andressa Cintra

Professor Andressa Cintra is one of Gracie Barra’s most accomplished Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitors. A five-time Adult Black Belt Gi World Champion and two-time Adult Black Belt No-Gi World Champion, she brings elite competition experience, technical precision, and a passion for helping students develop their Jiu-Jitsu at every level.
